Established in 2001, Overcast Pictures is an award winning production company that has developed, directed, and edited a wide range of passion projects. From TV series (via 2C Media) for Discovery, Travel Channel, Planet Green, WE TV, and CMT to editing National Promo campaigns for networks including CNN, NFL, MLB, NBA, Nat Geo Wild, ABC Family, Animal Planet, History Channel, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, Velocity, Freeform, Science Channel, Discovery, PBS, and more. Overcast Pictures continues to produce feature documentaries focusing on human rights, animal and environmental conservation, and in 2024, we have completed the narrative feature, Ghost Divers - filmed with all real sharks interacting with the actors in this tense supernatural thriller.
A native of South Florida, Mark Clark has been writing, directing, producing, and editing short and long form television and film for over 30 years. Often involved from the development stage, Clark has formed strong working bonds with prominent animal and human rights groups as well as government agencies including The Miami-Dade Police and Fire Departments, Air Rescue, Customs & Border Protection, TSA, and Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation. Currently, Mark is focusing on producing narrative features that appeal to the masses while informing and hopefully, inspiring audiences through dramatic entertainment.
